Theo James and Mekhi Phifer Hang Out on Insurgent Set and Have a Boys Night Out

Mekhi Phifer, who plays Max (the leader of the Dauntless faction) in Divergent and now Insurgent, shared via his Instagram yesterday a couple of pictures of him and Theo from the Insurgent set. These pictures clearly show Theo with a cut on his face and a bruise on his hand, most likely makeup applied on set for an Insurgent scene. You can also clearly see their Dauntless tattoos.

But that’s not all, as this epic boys night out actually took place and Mekhi came through by posting a couple more pictures this morning, via his Instagram and Twitter, letting us in on the fun. Why I believe that’s Lawrence Gilliard Jr from ‘The Walking Dead’ in the hat and white sweater!

Overall, looks like the night was a DAUNTLESS success. As Mekhi himself tweeted this morning:

“Had mad fun hanging last night! Theo is cool as hell!”
