Franny to Screen at Karlovy Vary Film Festival Where Richard Gere Will be Honored
Theo James’ Indie film Franny has been getting some well deserved exposure lately at various film festivals. First it premiered at Tribeca, then shown at Champs-Élysées, followed by Edinburgh where the UK premiere took place yesterday, then the upcoming Nantucket Film Festival where Theo James is scheduled to make an appearance. The latest great news tied to this film however, is the announcement that Theo’s Franny co-star Richard Gere will be receiving the highest “lifetime honor” next month at the 50th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic. In addition to fitting honor that Gere will be presented with, Franny is also scheduled to be screened at the event, making this the fifth film festival where it will be represented.
The festival will run July 3-11 and Richard Gere will be in attendance to present the film. It is unknown at this time whether Theo and Dakota will also be there, but we will definitely keep you all up to date as more details develop. For more information check out the KVIFF program.
