‘Ascendant’ Gets A New Release Date
THEOlogians and Initiates the official Divergent Series twitter announced that the last Divergent film, Ascendant, release date has changed to June 9th, 2017.
This just in: The final film in The @Divergent Series, #Ascendant, is now arriving in theaters Friday, June 9, 2017!

In September MTV announced the name change from The Divergent: Allegiant Part 2 to The Divergent: Acsendant the release date was of March 24th, 2017. They have not revealed why they moved the date 11 weeks.

So much time until 2017! Hopefully, they haven’t changed the date for Allegiant this March 🙂
I don’t mind the longer wait, but I almost wish it was coming out in August instead. Lest crowded summer movie month.
